Great care, compassion, understanding, and love for each and every child is top priority at Small Fries Child Care.       Each teacher has special child care training and has passed a background check.       Texas School Readiness Certified In June of 2007, Small Fries was one of three child care centers in San Marcos chosen to join the Austin Area Texas Early Education Model (TEEM) project.        TEEM is an evidence based classroom program that focuses on increasing children's school readiness through research-based curriculum, technology driven progress monitoring, and teacher professional development. TEEM has identified key components of school-ready classrooms linked to kindergarden success.        Participating in the TEEM project puts us ahead of Texas mandates and gives us more tools and data to ensure we continue to have a high quality preschool program with high quality kindergarden outcomes.
